Narcissist Bingo
The Idea...t
Although this appears to be a cool idea for identifying some fun aspects of language patterns, it is, in fact, a very serious teaching opportunity for all women everywhere. And some men, but this is mainly aimed at women. Narcissists often use specific language patterns to manipulate situations and play the victim role. These patterns are designed to evoke sympathy, shift blame, or confuse others. They also try to guilt-trip, or control others, often distorting reality to preserve the narcissist's sense of superiority whilst avoiding accountability. Narcissists use these patterns strategically to manipulate the emotions and perceptions of others while deflecting responsibility for their behavior. The patterns you read in the images below reinforce the narcissist’s manipulation by appealing to others' sense of fairness, compassion, and insecurity. Narcissists use these tactics to maintain control of the narrative, making themselves appear innocent or wronged in order to dodge accountability and keep others focused on their supposed suffering.
Are you dating?
So, if you are on a dating app and the guy you have never met before sends you messages about how amazing you are and beautiful, delete him. Don't even think about it. Just delete him. It's a sure sign he's a Narc. Check out the second picture below. Those are real messages by a real Narc to someone he had never even met. He was blocked immediately.
Narc Bingo
The obvious Bingo game here is to listen out for the patterns you see in the grid, match them to the specific type of manipulation they are on the right, and then never ever talk to the guy ever again. In fact, just block him now. I will offer you the full Narc Bingo checklist on my new Narc Awareness course. Get in touch for more info.
