How Aware are you of your Self-Awareness

Take your mental health seriously

Please consider this spiritual approach both an instruction manual and a motivational guide for those ready to expand their awareness and fundamentally reshape their inner and outer world.

By blending science and spirituality, Dr. Stevens makes a compelling case that extraordinary change is not only possible, but increasingly demonstrable — one individual at a time.

The crux of the problem is: people use habituated mental shortcuts (called Cognitive Intentions - CI) unconsciously, reducing their ability to act with Awareness and Choice.
Overuse of specific CIs (such as: Internal, Own, Individualist) leads to Thinking Styles that block developmental disequilibrium and vertical movement.
The core mechanism of our mental liberation would be Heightened Awareness (AQ): developing the ability to observe and choose CIs in the moment (meta-cognitive awareness).
The toolset for this mechanism is Cognitive Intention profiling, CI dissonance mapping, the CAIR model, and real-time reflection using the Four Pillars (Intention, Awareness, Choice, Response).
And the process would look like this:

1. Identify unconscious CIs through profiling
2. Reflect on habitual Thought-Response patterns
3. Apply CDT questioning to disrupt heuristic loops
4. Construct self-aware Thought-Intention pathways
5. Practise CI Choice in the moment to raise AQ.

Identity is constructed through the interaction of our CIs, and can be reconstructed with higher Awareness. Identity is never fixed — just habituated.
So what is your developmental goal? Achieve vertical movement through AQ levels (AQ4 to AQ9), leading to Dynamic Intelligence — the ability to construct self in the moment.
“Recognise your Thinking Style as construction, and choose differently.” - Can you see how this is useful from a mental health perspective?
This questionnaire will explicitly map cognitive development and self-awareness - both very important for mental health - via the Thinking Quotient and Awareness Quotient, and demonstrate where your thinking is too fixed, too Externalised, or simple too reflexive.

Will is only free at the point of Awareness: Cogitandi mea intentio est, ergo sum.
